 Also, I suppose I should address that hiatus I was on.
Frankly, I have no substantial excuse for not updating. I suppose I could just chalk it up to heightened burdens with work and college, but that would be a lie and would be too easy to say. It was more a situation of minor writer's block and extreme laziness that caused it. Nonetheless, I suppose the reason I took the hiatus is not the problem, but rather the way I addressed it.
The way I took that time off, the “random-unannounced-hiatus” way, though I indeed took a similar one before, was completely irresponsible of me to do, especially considering the last message I had posted (of being that I sprained my foot and explicitly stating that I would be making more comics). For that I apologize.
I also apologize for, on occasion, simply making up excuses for not making comics. Granted the readership isn’t at all particularly large (thus not being too important), but I hate it when I do things like that.
I apologize to those at Fortuna Saga – John, Mark, and Jess – for letting you down, I suppose.
But really the person I ought to apologize to the most is Murray. I squandered his largesse of free hosting, and I merely wasted server space for months at a time. I sincerely apologize for that.
Maybe the reason I stayed away so long was because I dreaded, or even, to a degree, feared, addressing these issues, to which I also apologize.
Also, I’m not even sure if these things were even big issues for anybody I apologized to, but this was important for me to say.
I suppose I’ll address the state of Vote Apathy. YES this update does spell the return of standard updates, but it might take a while to get back into the thrust of things. Unfortunately, this is the last of Vote Apathy you'll see for a while. I just don't have the drive to continue it right now.
Since anything is possible, there's always a chance that it will return. Such a return, however, certainly wouldn't be anytime soon.
